Since opening in 2009, the Social Sciences Administrative Support Group (ASG) has served as a shared resource providing high level administrative and financial support to academic units within the Division of Social Science. The ASG functions as a supplement to departments, bolstering internal resources and providing additional support services. Since 2009, the ASG has grown from providing support to 20 faculty members and 2 client departments to providing support to over 70 faculty members and 6 client departments, committees, and/or collections within the division. The ASG provides our clients with faculty assistance, IT and technology services, finance transactional and reconciliation support, and teaching fellow appointment services.
