    Administrative Support Group

    Support is our middle name.

Since opening in 2009, the Social Sciences Administrative Support Group (ASG) has served as a shared resource providing high level administrative and financial support to academic units within the Division of Social Science. The ASG functions as a supplement to departments, bolstering internal resources and providing additional support services. Over the years, the ASG has grown from providing support to 20 faculty members and 2 client departments to providing support to over 140 faculty members and 7 client departments within the Division. The ASG provides our clients with faculty assistance, IT and technology services, financial transaction support, and teaching fellow appointment services.

Faculty Assistance

Faculty assistance includes support for teaching and research, letters of recommendation, and departmental business.

Financial Services

The ASG Financial Associate provides a wide range of financial services to client departments.


Technology Services

Available technology services include IT Consulting, Database Design, Graphic Design, and Marketing.
