Since opening in 2009, the Social Sciences Administrative Support Group (ASG) has served as a shared resource providing high level administrative and financial support to academic units within the Division of Social Science. The ASG functions as a supplement to departments, bolstering internal resources and providing additional support services. The ASG provides our 9 client departments and groups with faculty assistance, IT and technology services, financial transaction support, faculty search support, and teaching fellow appointment services.
For 15 years, we supported our faculty and departments from 17 Sumner Road near the Graduate School of Design in Cambridge. In early 2025, ASG moved to our new location on the lofty 5th floor of 1414 Massachusetts Avenue. We look forward to welcoming you to our new space!
