Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund winner logoThe Multicultural Staff, Faculty, & Researchers Association (MSFRA) provides a platform for multicultural members of the Harvard community to create sustainable professional networks and to foster career development, by enhancing cross-cultural communication, international awareness, cooperation, and cultural diversity.

Multicultural staff, faculty, & researchers are identified as Harvard full-time or part-time employees, including postdocs, who were born outside of the US and/ or raised in a multilingual household.

MSFRA is a 2023 Harvard Culture Lab Innovation Fund recipient, created and led by SSASG's Sylvie Potookian. The name was changed in September 2023 from MSFA to MSFRA in order to be more inclusive for our postdocs/ researchers. 

We have monthly coffee chats on campus in Cambridge as well as similar opportunities in the Longwood area. The coffee chats are a great way to meet other multicultural members of our community.
