Following a recommendation from the Culture and Community Initiative (CCI), the Social Science Administrative Leadership (SSAL) community is invited to participate in "Pod" groups for academic year 2018-19. These "Pods" will consist of four to five DAs/CEDs and will meet monthly during the academic year to:
- Establish regular peer-to-peer support groups
- Allow for ongoing conversations without specific topics
- Build networks for collective problem-solving
- Create trust between colleagues in the Division
- Encourage DAs/CEDs to get away from their desks
- Provide opportunities for new DAs/CEDs to learn from experienced colleagues
